Question

Does the Utena boxed set exist for the subbed version? Because i can only find it for the dub.

Its normal, only up to episode 14 have been officially released in english. But i only find the dubbed boxed set, even though i find the subs of the tapes individually(its just a lot more expensive to buy each tape one by one)

yes, i thought it was 13eps though... didn't know eps14 was also released. eitherway, i BELIEVE i've seen it though i could be mystaken {in subs i mean}

yeah, i know what you mean. i'm waiting for the Lain boxset before i buy the DVDs... until then i'll have to settle with my VHS which are already about to die.

eitherway, about Shoujo Kakumei, they should be releasing the rest of the eps up to eps26 soon, but for some odd reason, 27-39 have yet to be signed. i don't know why their being so screwy about it, but it's terribly annoying, that's for sure.

Yes, i've only seen the first episode, but i really want to see the rest, its just a bit too expensive when you know you could get the same thing for many dollars less by buying a boxed set^^.

Actualy, online stores is where i've been looking. There's nowhere to buy anime IRL for miles and miles around here.

damn... who released the video? which company i mean? maybe you could order it from the official website of the company who owns the rights to it. if anywhere, they'd have it there, wouldn't they?

eitherway, i think we've dominated this thread enough... i will give it time for others to reply.^^

The Utena boxset was available in both sub & dub (I've got the subbed boxset), but I think Software Sculpters stopped releasing the subbed box set a while ago. Buy it on DVD; you get both dub & sub and it's region free.
Utena is a cool TV series. Can't wait to see the rest of it. I've also got the Utena movie on DVD from Japan, but it doesn't have any subtitles; does anyone know where I can get a script from?

I don't have a DVD player and i don't think i'll have one anytime soon, it just cost too much for our poor wallets.

Wait, so do they have it released subbed? I'm looking for episodes 27-39, and no one seems to have it. I saw the episodes dubbed up to 13 or something like that, but I don't want to see it dubbed!

Currently, only the first 13 episodes (both dubbed & subbed) are available commercially in the US..., although I have heard that Software Sculpters have acquired the rights for the Black Rose arc, and I think that another company has the rights to the Utena movie. :B:
