One of my favourite anime songs "Perfect World" from Vision of Escaflowne, which is sung in English, but by a Japanese guy who sounds like he doesn't understand a word of what he's saying and is probably singing it phonetically

If your talking Vision of the Escaflowne,

i would hav eto say A Windy Day, is the best song ive heard from that.

I dont really know why, its a bit to soft for my like usually, but its rather plesant

Gathered from the peices of babble and confusion, I would find that it was either "Air" or "Ode to joy" by Beethoven. If I am wrong, then sue me. Actually, disregard that 'Sue me" note. I don't think my wallet could take it.

Talking EVA Rocks! Let's tango, Bach!

Air is by Bach, and Ode to Joy, I.E. Symphony No. 9 was already pointed out.

I have to say that EVA holds my favourite music of all time. I never, ever stop listening to it... I think my favourite is definetly either Zankokuna Tenshi No These or Tamashii No Refuran.

On the subject of dubbing songs... did anyone see Manga Entertainment's dub of Macross Plus? I've seen both the dub and the sub. When they dubbed Myung's song, I was surprised at how faithful they were! Obviously, the original is better... but if they HAVE to dub a song, that's how I think it should be done!

Hey, sorry to interrupt but have any of you ever listened to Eva songs such as...

Tamashii no Rufuran (Refrain of the Soul)

Kokoro yo Genshi-ni Modore (Restore the Original Heart) or something like that?

They're both sung by Takahashi Yoko and both are pretty good. You should be able to find them on the EoE Singles Cd.
I wouldn't recommend buying it unless your a diehard Eva fan because the cd only contains those 2 songs in vocal and karaoke (no vocals) versions... meaning 4 tracks for about 15USD!

Yeah, I've heard both those tracks... pretty damn cool, huh? Did you hear Megumi Hayashibara's version of Tamashii? It was kinda... sleepy.

Hey don't knock Aqua-Groove or i'll kill you!!! j/k I wouldn't do something like that.....of course

but no, prologue de refuran (Track 1, Evangelion Refrain) is bloody weird. Respirator and water bubbling sounds all through it.

We were going to torture you, but in light that you are a Nick Cave fan (you'd better be!) we will just release you with a caution
