Talking My fav songs

Zankoku na tenshi no These, of couse. Tamashii no Rufuran (but the megumi (rei) mix, i think it is better than the Tabis mix that i have.)

Anything from Eva! period! Even the Classical Music by Bach, Pachbel, and Beethhoven and everyone else, i did an eva music vid to Ode To Joy called Ode to Eva.

Opening to Perfect Blue Ai no Tenshi

Opening to Vision of Escaflowne No Need for a Promise

Mamotte Shugogetten opening Saa! (translates to SO in japanese)

Nausicaa Valley of the Wind Opening

Sakura Saka-Megumi Hayashibara-From Love Hina

Winter Plantet-Two Mix-same guys who did Gundam music

Ayumi Hamasaki ANYTHING she is great, did the opening theme for the Role playing game, Thousand Arms and the ending theme, which is rare

Voices-Macross Plus of course

Any Slayers or Magic Knights Rayearth even tho i hate both of the series

Mizuiro Jidai (Blue Green years, Aqua Age, Water Color Age the names go on for ever, its really rare) it has the best opening theme in the whole world!

Anything from El Hazard

Opening To Outlaw Star- through the night.

and anything from Knights Of Ramunes or Lamunes

well i am done, i like a whole sleuth of others!

Ja ne!

Out of all the Tamashii's, I'd say my fave was the Tabris mix. Very, very subtle differences to the original, though... but the ending is great. I thought Winamp had cacked up! Very original.
However, when I got it, I was kinda expecting Kaworu to be singing it... that would been kinda cool.
Besides, I much prefer the guitars in the Tabris mix to those in the original. (And I think it had a meaning too - that Tabris may have been an angel, but he was almost exactly like the rest of us - reflected in the subtle differences between the original and the Tabris mix.)

'Sides, Tabris was my fave angel, and Kaworu was my favourite pilot... (Asuka came pretty damn close tho!)

That's another funny thing about Tabris/Kaoru...

I mean, he only appeared in ONE episode of Eva but he seems to make a very big impact and he also seems to be a popular character despite his single appearance.

By the way, he's also one of my favorites too!

Man...The sound track of Evangelion rocks. I like Tammashii no Refuran, Jesus bleibet meine Frueud (My favourite!!!), and basically the all of the songs from that series. I also listen to the Rurouni Kenshin sound tracks. They are pretty cool. My favourite for that series has to be "1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou" by Siam Shade if anyone has heard of it. Also the sound track on Sailor Moon R isn't bad.

How about Ranma sound track? Anybody like the music on that? I personally think it is good and nice. Care to Comment?

My favoruite Jpop singer has to be...Yuko Miyamura.

Wow! Look! Three little Kaworu faces, standing in a row! (Well, four now)

Well, as I've said before, my favourite peice of music of all time has to be 4th Movement, Symphony no. 9. The melody (Ode to Joy) is beautiful, and the peice fits any mood. Happy, sad, angry, tense, ANYTHING - especially depending on what part you listen to. I always associated it with happiness (The title and the fact my parents got married to it), but when I saw the Tabris battle, I realised it fitted well with rousing battles and suspense.

As Kaworu himself said, "The song is good. I think that song is the highest acheivement of the Lilim culture, don't you agree?"

You can buy all the Eva OST's at animecastle.com for 55% off... It's really great to be able to buy a 30$ ch for only $11.
Their Eva S2 7cd package only costs $55...
That's a good deal considering that it contains Eva OST's 1-3, Eva D&R OST, EoE OST, and an additional cd with extra Eva music. Same thing for all their other stuff too.

Yay, I love anime music!! Do I have to pick a favourite??

Okay, let me see...

Neon Genesis Evangelion:
Komm, Susser Todd
Thanatos *sigh*
Both of You, Dance Like You Want to Win
The Beast II
and of course Cruel Angel's Thesis. Isn't that just the best theme song?

I also like the slow version of the Fushigi Yuugi theme song, and My Only Love, Ai Wo Shinjiteru, Setsunakuteii, and We Believe You from Sailormoon (both versions).

Oh, and BTW, Yes Gifts at Indooroopilly has heaps of NGE CD's for sale if anyone in the Brisbane area is looking for them. Basically they have the whole series of original Japanese CD's for around thirty dollars each. A bit exy but they did import them. They also have all thirteen videos if anyone's after them!

Er..$30 each? Are you SURE they're the original Japanese version? For that price they're more likely SonMay or Ever anime.

"Their Eva S2 7cd package only costs $55..."

Is that American? I paid $200 (Australian) for the S2 Works box set.

A$200 is a reasonable price PROVIDING YOU GOT THE ORIGINAL JAPANESE VERSION produced by King Records (comes with limited edition Eva phone card). That's the price I charge for 'em.

If, however, you got the SonMay version (that's the one Anime Castle sells) or the Ever Anime version, then I'm afraid you got ripped ^^; Of course, if you bought it in Newcastle, then I'm not surprised you paid that much...it's a bit of the old supply and demand in operation I guess
