The first volume of Martian Successor Nadesico which I bought along time ago.

I've only bought the RahXephon Boxset + DVD 1 since then but one of my friends has bought 60 dvds in the meantime and was getting most of the series I wanted to see anyway.

Actually I've just seen Sin on dubbed VHS and it wasn't that bad. I've seen worse at least. So I take it back.

(Er, why did I just quote myself? Yes edit features.... >_< doh)

First anime dvd was Cowboy Bebop volume one. In fact the reason I bought a dvd player was for anime, right now I only have two non-anime dvds.
First anime I ever bought was Gunsmith Cats 01 on VHS. All it contained was episode one, which was quite a rip-off now that I start thinking about it. I had just found out about anime and had been browsing some magazine when I saw an ad for the show. When I hit a comic book store downtown and recognized it I decided to give it a shot.

Cardcaptor Sakura Vol. 3. There's wasn't a first volume of that when I was trying to purchase it at the mall...so I ended up not watching the first 8 episodes.

First anime DVD? Well, I'm pretty sure it was Cowboy Bebop.

But, the first anime I ever bought was El Hazard the Wanderers (tv series) on VHS.
