Best alternate universe Gundam?

Personally, I have the most experience with Wing, but I've read the synopsis for the other series. Out of all of them, SEED interests me the most, if nothing but it is the newest and it's the only series to take Newtype v. Humanity to the greatest extent.

G-Gundam: Superhero fighting tournament? Pass
Gundam X: Mad Max? No thanks.
Turn-A Gundam: You lost me at Moonrace, but I do want to see the regression of the world.

The problem I have with UC Gundam is that while the original series is awesome, doesn't it get old by the time you get to F91, V, and G-Savior? It must be depressing that in the end, both the Zeon and Earth Federation are gone, and the One Year War is somewhat pointless.

Personally I think UC Gundam was getting tired and tripe, ZZ & Victory were awful to average with a few standout moments and are nothing compared to Zeta. I'll rather have Tomino making Aura Battler Dunbines and Overman King Gainers than to add to the UC Universe. Heck he's doing a Fudaku in letting his wife influence him while working on gundam since he's making the movie lighter because his wife thought it was too dark If Fuduka said that he would be slayed by uc gundam fanboys but Tomino says it and you just hear crickets.

SEED - The second half is great if you can get past the average first, Freedom Gundam rocks.
G - It would be so much better if it wasn't a Gundam anime, it's fun.
Wing - The Two Mix music is the best thing about it and Treize.

Turn-A-Gundam I don't consider AU.

SEED Destiny will probably end up being the best AU Gundam, though I still like SEED more the first 19 eps of SEED Destiny >>>> SEED easily.

Personally I liked Turn A Gundam (Actually if we are to follow Turn A's story, NONE of the Gundam series, save SEED are AU) the best. Great characters, story, music etc
Then Gundam Wing/Endless Waltz
Then Gundam X (underated imo)

Turn A Gundam is god like. Other than that my other favorites are G and SEED, other than that...eh...

I need to see X more, and I'm not so much a fan of Wing.

Except Fukuda usually digs threw the recycle bin afew more times than Tomino did. As for Victory, yeah that was a series Tomino really didn't want to do though it does have some good moments. Saviour, not even counting that as Gundam... I'm just going to take the stance "UC Gundam is 100% dead, but I'm going to preserve it."

As for favorite AU, G Gundam has some good moments. Gundam X is good stuff too, and if you don't follow that Turn A takes place on the same timeline as UC Gundam you can count that one in too.

Don't anyone of you know the black hole theory? All Gundam series, AU or UC all come to Turn A Gundam. Look closely, most of the technologies used in AU or UC gundam are there. From the MTS to Images of the X/UC colonies.

The best is usually the one you haven't seen. So Turn A.

Actually you can say that it is all one continuity until Seed, and Seed is a new beginning.

Seed is overated by the japanese... I keep writing it and I'm tired of it.

At this rate of the randomness of Gundam.... We should make End Of Gundam and have an armageddon.

Can't anyone make a Gundam Gundam sequel. Seed dosen't feel like a gundam series... It feels like a robot series of its own.

This has been dead a few months, so I'll throw my 2 cents in. I'd have to say that G Gundam is my fave AU, but I would like to see Turn A and X. Might change my veiws a bit.

Now you must give me a reason to justify your existence and survival Westlo because you have commited one of the cardinal sins by saying SEED Destiny was good.

Unless you have a raging hard-on for Jesus Yamato, Virgin Mary 2.0 Lacus or Butcher of Berlin Mwu which is the best reasons nowa. You're credibility is all but killed when discussing anything gundam related.

Oh, I'd have to say G-Gundam, Gundam X, Turn A Gundam, Gundam Wing, Gundam SEED, Endless Waltz, Gundam SEED Desitny in that order.

But the gap between G, X and Turn A aren't that far apart

I'd put Turn A above G Gundam, followed by Gundam X. Crazy Moonrace wins points, Domon the only real hot blooded substitute Super Robot pilot in Gundam deserves some mention too.
