Downtime weekend - Nov 27 - 29, 2004
Animeboards.com and sites may experience momentarily downtimes while our generous hosting sponsors, Disboards.com upgrade their 6+ million post vBulletin forum to vB 3.0.3. This may require Apache/MySQL restarting due to the size of the forum upgrade and tweaks and optimisations needed on server level to complete their upgrades.

Was the site down for the past two days? I couldn't access it to save my life. It would tell me there was a timeout error. Thought the servers were being upgraded again or something...

I too had occured this error when access to the site was desired, and pushing refresh did not fix the errror, no matter how many a time I did press the refresh button!

yeah problem was with the web serving software, litespeed web server which replaced Apache server for web serving.. the "408 request time out error" - not sure what was the problem but seems to be fixed now.. looking into the cause
