Half-Life Maps

Halflifemaps.com

This is yet another new website of mine with a promising future ahead of it. If you are a Half-Life fan you have probably seen the countless Half-Life websites out there and for that I regret to say my website isn't exactly as nice looking as those only because Half-Life is certainly a worldwide video game success story, and all kinds of computer nuts have sites about it.

So what does my website have that makes it different from the rest? Well some rather in depth map reviews, which is what my Half-Life site is all about. Because of my extensive work on Megalixir.net, Halflifemaps.com will probably not be updated as often but you now know the Half-Life maps of the world have another home on the internet. The only one created by me.

Due to my lack of time to update I only write about the best--making them all worth a download. I have literally played hundreds of Deathmatch and Team Fortress Classic along with many Counter-Strike maps so you should not worry about the quality of my choices.

Peace. V

Youd make GuGuEaTeR happy =)

Im not to fond of the orange colour and the font used, and the header with Half Life Maps, the quality is a bit lacking but other then that looks promising.

Yeah as I said I did a little of a rush job on the design orochi X. I don't have the time to compete with the many Half-Life websites right now. It's just another to add to the MB database.

Peace. V

Do you mean cs_italy? Since I haven't reviewed it yet if you want, you can fill in all the section ratings found on Halflifemaps i.e. Ambience, Graphics etc. and I could setup a page for it, and put your name on the review. I could also take screenshots of it for you to add to the review.

As I've said before, I'm concentrating most of my time on Megalixir, but I could do that for you.

Peace. V

i spelt it correctly. it's cs_nitaly. not quite the same as cs_italy, although it's loosely based upon it.

you can try the alpha version here. only 25% done, but it shows the main layout. beware, it may be altered so much when i finish it won't be funny

Yes it certainly is in the development stages because you still need to add objects. I would suggest that as you are working on it to think about possibly adding some ladders, and there just seem to be too many terraces. I'm sure you have all kinds of things in store for it though.

yep, the object insertion begins within about 20% time. some time to go, i need to modify a few things before i continue.

and as for ladders, no ladders in this map. it wouldn't make any sense, considering it is after all, a recent archeological. i'll use other 'innovative' items instead.

about too many terraces, hmm... i don't know, they seem fine to me. although there are a lot of them... if the CTs and Ts really are doing what they must i.e. rescue hostages and stop CTs, then everything should be fine.
