Just started watching again after awhile.

FLCL
Scrapped Princess
Last Exile
Utena

oppa, how is Ikkitousen? I haven't been keeping up with the latest fansubs. I too, would love a Tenjo Tenge anime, but I don't think one will be coming out while the manga is still being published.

As long as you're not fanatically biased towards Tenjo Tenge, I would say that if you enjoy TT, than you'll enjoy Ikkitousen. It has the same theme as TT, in that much of the plot is built around HS kids doing martial arts... but obviously, the story itself is different. I'd explain the story to ya, but it's hard to explain in just so many words... I don't really know what the main theme is yet anyway.

Ikki focuses mainly on the lead character, Hakufu. I really like her personality. I think it's because she reminds me of several Shounen main characters, like Gon from Hunter X Hunter and Naruto from, well, Naruto. Y'know, the stupid, strong-willed, determined, but somewhat lazy type character. It's interesting seeing that personality in a girl.

Anyway, all that mumbo-jumbo aside, my first sentence should sum it up enough. Just catch the first episode and you can easily determine if you'll enjoy it or not... and like I said, it's the next best thing to TT that I have in animated form right now so it'll do.

And just so I can keep this post on topic, I've just started to pick up Inuyasha from where I left off... CN made me want to watch some more.

Dubbed Haibane Renmei,
Last Exile - catching up with this since the set back of DL ing a corrupted ep18.
Hitsuji No Uta - about to watch the second ep.
Texhnolyze - OK, so I'm not too keen on this one, but it is getting more interesting and hey, it's ABe, so I'm happy.
R.O.D the TV series - only seen the first ep but this is looking promising, hope they put in a cameo of the president wetting himself .
GITS TV series - a little too talky at times - still cool though. Another 26 to come? woo hoo !

Just finished watching

Wonderful Days - I caught the trailer from this a while ago. Nice CGI and some touching story elements give this a , although the character designs are mediocre and the ending isn't too well done.

Looking forward to

Witch Hunter Robin DVD - I've bought into this series on the strength of the first ep. Should be good. Won't be wearing the t-shirt though.
Risky safety - Kawaii .

Ah, the Getbackers. Their pretty funny. I've only seen the first couple of episodes recently, but I'd give the anime an above average rating so far.

Peace. V
