full metal alchemist is great! it takes a while to get started but the story is very dramatic. when you get finished watching it, make sure you check out the movie. It was said to be the best conclusion to an anime series ever, and i whole heartedly agree. enjoy!

Really? Then I must check out the movie then because honestly I was a bit dissapointed with FMA's ending. Great fun all the way and ditto with the build up but in the end I felt the series ending was rushed.

Kannazuki no Miko Eps 1-12 : Hmm, the blurb I got on this show from a friend was "a shoujo/yuri love story involving two re-incarnated priestesses & of their battles against the 8 headed Orochi". Her explaination was so vague. ^_^;; I only watched the series yesterday, I spent today pondering it & I'm still wondering if I like the series or not. The character interaction between Chikane & Himeko is good (though Himeko comes over as being whiney at times), as is the bizarre love triangle with Souma too, & if it was just a show about three young people trying to find love for themselves, then I think I would have enjoyed the series a lot more. But having giant mecha stomp onto the scene in every episode kinda killed that really. Don't get me wrong, I love my mecha; it's my favourite anime genre, but I like it in it's place. The robots didn't fit into a series about young love, & their presence dumbed down the series as a whole IMO. If my mate had said it's a giant robo show with yuri thrown in for good measure I think I would have been better prepared. ^_^;;

Strawberry Panic! Eps 20-26 : Though this series is very cliche, sugary sweet (cloyingly), & extremely cheesy in places (almost cringe-worthy), I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it; the characters just kept on tugging at my heartstrings. The last 6 episodes were a bit of a rollercoaster-ride emotionally; I swore at the end of episode 24, cheered & cried during episode 25 & the finale put a smile back on my face again.
Overall, the plot is kinda thin at best, but this is a character driven show, so I enjoyed how the characters developed & how they interacted with each other over time. I really like the artwork too, the thin character designs reminded me a lot of Shoujo Kakumei Utena. And it has a happy-ish ending as well, & I love happy endings for series like this coz I'm a sap.

Finished AIR TV and now I have the AIR Movie and 2 Summer Specials queued up for watching tonight. I also finished Aim for the Top 2: DieBuster.. I liked the way they wrapped it up. Gotta watch it again with the knowledge that it's the SAME universe as GunBuster!! Also continuing in order of priority:

Strawberry Panic.. Im at episode 7 and liking it so far
Koi Kaze
Kanon again.. Also I just got the Kanon Dreamcast game on order, and I found a walkthrough/semi-translation for the DC version.. life is good.

After this I have queued up:

Canvas 2
Lamune (not Knights of Lamune)
Full Moon Wo Sagashite
and a few other Shoujo selections.. been in a shoujo mood recently.

I honestly must say that youtube is the sh!T. How can doing something so wrong make me feel so right, right?! I'm saving alot of time, not to mention space on computer. Anyways, here's what I'm watching as of right now:

Black Blood Brothers
Coyote Ragtime Show
Innocent Venus

This list will be updated soon. I have to get back into the swing of things.
