Samurai Seven on Adult Swim
This coming weekend, Cartoon Network's Adult Swim will premier Samurai Seven, based on Akira Kurosawa's movie classic The Seven Samurai (remade by Hollywood as The Magnificent Seven). My comments on this series can be found on page 4.
Samurai Seven will replace Deadman's Wonderland -- because AS did not buy the rights to that entire series. Great planning, guys.
If you have never seen Samurai Seven, I recommend you give it a look. It is a good story, though giving the Kurosawa classic a scify look may be pushing it just a little.
