Dragonball Forum FAQ Ideas

Well, after some talking with Ko, I've decided to make a semi-official FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) list for this Dragonball Forum ^_^

In this FAQ will be included _many_ spoilers pertaining to the series, including a synopsis of the series, as well as a list of main characters and techniques used in the series.

There will, of course, be more information included, but before that is written/added/etc, I felt it best to see what the people of this forum thought should be included.

So, if you have any wishes/ideas for any information that should be included in the FAQ, please post them here.

Also, any off-topic discussion in this thread shall not be tolerated, and will be deleted as soon as it is spotted.

This may not be what you want in this thread, but I was thinking what would be the point of the DB forum after this whole FAQ thing is put together? The DB forum is here to discuss everything from DB. If you put together a DB FAQ list then we wouldn't have much to talk about anymore.

Hmm. . . Now that is a good point. (o_O);; I didn't think of it like that. .

Well, I do believe that even after a FAQ is written up, much can still be discussed pertaining to Dragonball. That is to say, even with many members already knowledgable in Dragonball as they are, there's still a _really_ long thread on how Goku got his disease.

Either way. . I think it would be best to see how this works out first. If it does indeed lower the amount of threads created, then. . I'll have to find a way to fix the problem. .

I think something useful would be a timeline detailing (or un-detailing depending on spoiler count) DB, DBZ, and GT events. Especially since the Trunks story always screws everyone up.

Atomic does kinda have a point...maybe the FAQ should be limited to simple character names (we could even add all the multiple spellings!!!

), attacks, fight locations, techniques, etc.

I think the whoe FAQ thing should just be a Character Bio thing, listing all attacks, abilities, levels and a timeline on events such as when people die or are born or created

Well, as much as a timeline would be great to have, given my limited knowledge of Dragonball, I really doubt that I'd be able to put one together. .
Though. . if anyone else would be up to the task, that'd be quite helpful.

Anyways, besides just information about the series, information was also to be included around the series. That is. . of course, stating that there is no Super Saiya-jin 5+, and also giving information on the volumes of manga published and the running length of each series.

Death of Goku and quick overview of why he died.
Training of Gohan.
Arrival & defeat of the Saiyans.

Everyone except Goku heads to Namek.
Freeza is mentioned.
Teaming up with Vegeta
SSJ revealed.

Trunks & Goku arrive.
Androids show up.
SSJ #2 revealed.
17 & 18 stomp everyone.
Cell arrives & absorbs.
Training of Gohan & Goku.
Goku's sacrifice & Gohan's success.

Gotta watch the next eps...

I could do the timeline. DB and DBZ would not be a problem, but I still have to watch 33-64 eps of the GT series... but if anyone think they're more qualified for DB, I can do only DBZ, since I've seen the animé and read the manga for this one... (for DB i've only read the manga). Anyway, I would LOVE to help!

what should be included? like everyone said, characters bio is the basic, then short saga summaries, and info on the dragon balls themselves (you know, for newbie to the series) and the wishes.

yeah, i could help with the db timeline, since i saw nearly all the db eps!

Hey, Usagi, you have an AIM s/n or ICQ#?? Yuusuke told me to get started, so I've got some preliminaries down for the Timeline, but I would love your help!! ^^

Also, you or Yuusuke will probably have to do the timeline for GT, 'cuz I don't think anyone else here has seen any of it. I also got drafted into doin' a timeline of the first two Dragonball graphic novels. O.o
