Clamp loving people.... where are you?

Glad your reading this... Just wondering, i know theres gotta be a lot of people out there that love Clamp. So whats your fav series from them? Why? or do you just love everything that they do.

But anyways all i've really been exposed to is CCS (usually not my typical flair of taste but its really kawaii. ) I'm so sure i read it here on the boards which is why i went to go look for the manga (had order it through mitsuwa cuz they were out of stock) of Clovor and some other one named Chobits. Hope these two are good.

So I guess this is two fold.... can anyone tell me a little something about Clovor and Chobits without giving me too much.... and.... any quetions from the first paragraph

The only work I've seen from Clamp is X/1999. I read the manga up to volume 6 and seen the anime movie. Ive heard there is an anime series but have not seen it...yet; I plan to though. I must say that the manga is pretty good.

I like anime made from Clamp.

I like Card Captor Sakura, I think it is aimed at people younger than I am, but I like it anyways.

I have also seen Miyuki-Can in Wonderland and Miyuki-Chan in Mirrorland. THAT was funny!

I most probably have seen other anime from Clamp, I just did not take notice.

I LOVE CLAMP!!!!

my favorite art-wise is CLOVER
my favorite story-wise is WISH
my favorite bishounen-wise is Tokyo Babylon

i have finished reading all the CLAMP mangas except MKR

CLOVER is about a girl who has special powers and must be kept away from the outside world. She leads a solitary life, kept by the military. She goes in search of happiness which meant going out, and it leads to many problems as other militaries try to capture her for her superior power.

ME! ME! I LOVE CLAMP!

I love their drawing style, their sense of humor, the fact that the're hard working talented ladies.

X is my favorite, the movie did not do it justice at all. MKR is a close second, it's so cute and funny and all that jazz.

Ooh, CLAMP!

I really, really love the X/1999 manga, and what I've read so far of Wish (read: not a lot) is really good too. I'm not the biggest MKR fan, but I like it. It's cute, I guess. I just happen to think CLAMP has far more potential than that which was displayed by MKR ^^

I also really liked Miyuki-chan in Wonderland (esp. the manga! Hilarious!) ^^;

Basically, everything I've read by CLAMP I've liked. The art is gorgeous, the stories are fascinating, and the characters are awesome. I cannot wait for the X/1999 anime series!

I like Clamp. I like Cardcaptor Sakura and Magic Knights Rayearth the best though. Choibits is about a nineteen year old boy who is broke. He goes to prep school and works at a bar. He finds this girl, machine thing (called persocons) in the dumpster and picks her up. Then, he brings her home and "turns her on". You can find the translation for Choibits at http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Fountain/4000/clamp.html

Oh wow.... Clovor is something else.

I just finished the first volume... good stuff.... currently in the process of reading the second volume. Does anyone know how many volumes there are to clovor? When i went to Mitsuwa they only had volume one and two, and online i have only hear/read that there is 4 (maybe 5) volumes already out.

Good Evening

Hrm...I like CCS from CLAMP, but not much of their other stuff...their art style of 8-ft tall guys with 5-foot long legs, 4 ft wide wide shoulders and 2 ft wide eyelashes isn't really to my taste ^^;

I've been watching some Angelic Layer recently, which is quite a departure from their usual style, they've taken the shoulder pads out...looks interesting although the first few eps have been pretty slow so far. Btw, I give it about 2 months before a console game based on the series is announced
