Scheinwelt settled in with the pilots fairly well, but as they arrived at school, greeted by the new student Vincent, another Angel appeared, darkening the skies of Tokyo-3. The students were rushed to a shelter, but Damien chased after a determined Schein to find him pounding on a metal entryway. Returning, they found themselves under the closer supervision of the NERV operative, Liuokin.
Kuroi injured, Jamie cutting loose yet again, and Meiran with conflicting emotions, the pilots pull through the battle with the Angel. But each of them continues to recess into their past, unable to identify with the present..find out how they'll handle it all in this episode, Fushigi Kangae/ Lonely Souls!

3 hours have passed...
Kuroi wakes up lying on the hospital bed...
(The nurse says that I can leave today... can't wait to get out of this damn place... stupid power... If it hadn't been out, I would've gotten out of this earlier...)
He sits up and gets out of bed...
(At least the medical service is top notch... I don't feel any pain at all now...)
Kuroi gets dreesed in his school uniform...the usual slacks with the short sleeve dressshirt over the dark green undershirt...
(I'm gonna go for a walk whether the the nurses like it or not...)
He leaves his room...

Meiran, by now, knew her way around the hospital, almost too well. She'd been there too many times, so it seemed.
Making her way to Kuroi's room, she glanced down at the shopping bag full of food and the like. Before school, she planned to give him something to live off of.
/I kow he must absolutely _LOVE_ this hospital food..especially since th' power's out everywhere, they can't offer much../
Her eyes strayed to the windows that overlooked Tokyo-3, and she took in the sights. More than ever, the city seemed dead. There were no lights, no cars, nothing but the tiny blotches of crowds bustling about.
/This city is all wrong../
She reached out to press the button to the elevator that was "up", and as she did, the doors opened.
Smiling out at her was Kuroi.
"K..Kuroi-kun?!? What're 'ya doin' outta yer room?!"

Kuroi sees Meiran when the door opened...
"Hi Meiran... what are you doin so far from the path to school?"
His eyes wander to the bag...
"er...you didn't need to do that for me Meiran... thanks though... maybe you can bring it for lunch at school and share it with Jamie and us..."
He adjusts his bookbag...
"Come.. I heard that Katsukari was on this floor... let's pay him a visit..."
He walks with Meiran down the hall...

She retraced her path down the hallway, turning into another corridor, and finally into a doorway, where Katsukari lay.

Hiya, WOW this is so cool you visited me, thanks a bunch.
[he quickly sits up taking the breathing tool off his face]
They told me to wear this but i dont really need it , besieds i know it looks kinda scary. But they gave me a cd player and a portable video game system, really cool stuff ^_^

Pilots have been medically examined, the eva's placed in cryostasis for repairs, technicians having almost completely repaired the disabled electrical system. Check Check Check.
/All important items have been taken care of...*rubs eyes due to tiredness*...I hope that Musashi and Cridley didn't get into any trouble this time *sigh* - ...and Katsu...i hope he's alright/
Nia takes one last glance around Central Dogma
/It's ok, everything's in order/
/I'd better go and visit Katsu first to check how he's going, then i'd better check on Cridley and Musashi/
