Meryl adds a lot to the show though and she has a lovable (in her own way) character!!!

Yeah, thats true. Her being ticked at Vash all the time adds more humor to the show.

I voted for Wolfwood, dammit! Cuz I think he just kicks ass... ^_^;;;
*SPOILERIFICNESS!!!*
Mmm. His death in the anime kinda disappointed me (not the fact that he just died, but just the way he died in general). But I usually don't pay it much mind, since I like to go by the manga many a time.
*MORE SPOILERS! for the manga this time*
Mostly cuz Wolfwood's a full-fledged Gung Ho Gun in the comics---there never WAS another Chapel, for Nicky was Chapel the Evergreen the entire time. That...and he never dies. That just adds to the coolness.
Gotta dig 'is middle name, too. I mean.. ^^;;; Dokonokuminomonjawaresumekinishiterokakora? Daily Cigarettes Consumption? Bejeezus!
((Er...Thanks to Make a Little Light Bulb In Your Soul for the japanese middle name and Smoking Man for the translation.))

I think Trigun is a rare case where the anime is better than the manga.

Vash is awesome. He keeps the gun shooting action at it's highest momentum. Because he doesn't have the urge to kill the action continuously goes on. If he were to be serious, more way than one, Vash would wipe the scum clean of the Earth and that would be it.

Vash is winning 3 to 1 at this point.
I voted for Vash. But I, too, thought Nick D. would have a better showing. If I'd known the vote before I voted, I might have changed my mind just to sway it to a more even keel.
Nah. I guess I'm still attached to Vash for just being a supreme bada$$. You can't get any sillier and badder than that man can--quite the dichotomy. And I rhymed too! Bonus points!

Milly needs more votes. A wonderfully kind and gentle girl, to be wary of if she can heft the stungun with one hand. Brighter than she at first appears, and so darn Kawaiiiiiii for a tall girl

Yeah, I love Milly, like I love all the characters, they are very well done. She adds a lot to the show, and you got to love a woman who decks a man for squashin' her puddin'.

Well, Wolfwoods quite possibly my favorite anime character ever, and so far as characters go in entirety, he's right up there with Haplo and Drizzt Do'Urden. I mean, who cannot love the Cross-Punisher? Its a freakin amory, for crying out loud! But seriously, he has an interesting character. I also have this weird thing for crosses and travelling priests. And I'm athiest. Hypocritical? Maybe. Paradoxical (issat a word?)? Most definitely ('zat spelled right?)! Hiw whole sin-redemption deal is also pretty cool. on the side of Vash though, he has some snappy lines! (Nick) "...I mean, The Stampede can't be your real name." (Vash) "I'm not going to tel you my name just so you go out there and die today!" (Nick) "Come on, between you and me." (Vash) "*smiles* Between you and me? My names irrelevent." Or somethiin' like that...

Vash He's so kind and gentle,just such a great guy,and can be so hilarious when he's clowning around,though,at the same time,he can change his attitude and become really serious within a matter of seconds,he just needs the proper motivation.Then,even in the heat of battle,he sticks with his morals and beliefs no matter what,'spretty admirable
