There is no purpose
What ever purpose they had, Rare removed it before release. Unless of course, they are keeping it under their metaphorical hats. It has been theorised that at one point they would have somethind to do with the game cheats.

Well they accualy ran out of time before they could complete the program for the chesse So they weren't able to put it in but they kept the graphics to it
If it was meanful it should have been a banana!

Speaking of lack of purpose, what the hell is the point of a whole forum for one singular game (not even very good)? This thing is never, ever posted in anymore, time to get rid of it IMHO.

This game was a landmark for it's time. A nintendo landmark.... I feel privilaged to have bought the game fresh off the shelf back in 2000, and played it to my hearts comtempt. Congrats Nintendo, this forum will live in my memory forever, I bid you Adieu, and good day.
~If anyone posts after this I feel sorry for you, the game was great. But it's time to move on. Throw that icky 64 away, and do yourself a favor by buying a Gamecube or an X-Box or maybe a PS2. You will feel Great!
