*grabs her sword , whip ,chainsaw, tomhawk,* if that a$$hole cappy evne talks to me on AB I swear I'll leave.

After leaveing Ivy and her friend and his rat. I decided to head to the forest. She needed to clean some things up, and staying in the city only made things worser on her mind.

Comeing to the lake, I set and rest on a rock and open my black wings.*why does it seem things can never be the way they used to be? theres always war and choas and death. Tho I love them all. Shouldnt there be more out of life?* Sighing deely, I lean over and look at my reflection. *ive changed so much over the years. The face I see now is older, 17 or so, with crimison blood red hair and dragon green eyes.*nearing the water I slip down into it, until it touch jsut below my wings. *I wounder what Ivys doing?*

Why can't you be more like your sister?

Mickey flinched in her sleep, the shrill voice echoing through her ears. She rolled onto her side, drawing in the scent of the crisp linen and the candy-coated smell of a room that many girls live in.

Don't hurt me! God, just stop hurting me! I didn't mean to! I didn't mean to!

She could almost feel the blood on her face, her hand cupped to catch the liquid life, pressing it back to her mouth. The taste of copper and death heady in her senses. Candy-coated girl smell, shampoo and lipstick and perfume, and then the blood.

I only wanted to make you proud.

Her brows knit together and she curled into a tight ball on the bed, trying to block out the background noise her waking mind was picking up, giggling girls, chattering gossip.

Aria! Aria, no!

The pounding noise of the black frothing river, dragging the pale young woman away. There was a folk song, she remembered, about a fiddle.

I didn't mean to...

Tears were streaming down her face now and she was whimpering quietly, stuck in the place between waking and dreaming, the place of memory.

Don't leave! No!

As she began to thrash a new sound drifted through the thick fog, above the noise of the roaring river.

"Hey, Mickey, are you okay?"

Not Michelle. Not Michelle.

Her eyes slowly opened, one the color of new green leaves and the other like welling blood in a wound. They were strangely unfocused for a minute and then became sharp with fear. Someone was over her. Someone was near her. No. Not again.

...can't... breathe... daddy stop...!

Mickey reached out instinctively, grabbing either side of Ivy's head and sitting up suddenly, gripping her temples and staring at her, wide eyed and frightened. It took her only a minute to release her and bring both of her hands to her mouth as she gasped.

"I'm... I'm sorry... I didn't know... I'm sorry." Mickey took three deep breaths and came to her feet. "I... please forgive me."

*YA! I'm with all of you. I only saw a few of cappy's little discussion but it peved me off. *

I looked at Mickey and saw she was crying. 'why is she crying?' "Hey it's ok. Wanna talk about what happened?" I looked at her hoping she will tell me what happened. Her eyes were so scared. 'But why are they?'

'I'm getting so bored here. It's not fair I smell that boy near here. I think Ivy called him Tiquir. I don't want him near my sister. He'll hurt her somehow just like when he left. I had to stay hidden then too.' I look up through the bushes to see a that girl Melody walking away. She has a saddened arora around her. I decided to follow her. She needs someone to look after her she didn't seem to noticed the world around her.

She stoped in the clearing that Ivy and me always came to when we were young. And wings emerged from her back. 'What! I thought Ivy was the only person with wings.' I acidentally stepped on a twig. Now that she heard. She spun around and yelled out. "Who's there? I warn you I am a trained killer." I couldn't hid anymore she had heard me. I stepped out her face changed compleatly straight I couldn't tell what she was thinking.

It only took a moment for Mickey to regain control, and stand, brushing herself off. "Nothing. I just had an unpleasant dream. Is there still breakfast to be had?" Her stomach rumbled angrily at her. "I'm just about starved."

*Lingrad continued walking, and guided by his stomach he made it to the dining hall.

"You look like hell," General Barbados said, walking up to Lingrad.

Lingrad looked at him thoughtfully, though rather spiteful at Barbados' remark. "Ah, well I haven't been sleeping very well," the silver-tongued serpent replied to the general.

"That's too bad, old man. Would you care to join me?" General Barbodos cheerfully asked the Lingrad.

"Well... I was just going to eat lunch alone--" Lingrad started

"Come on... lighten up. Here, take a seat!" the general interrupted Lingrad and pulled out a chair.

"I suppose I can," Lingrad said hesitantly, taking a seat.

The general then ordered a bottle of wine, and soon the meal was under way. Barbados started talking about battles, or something else of little interest to Lingrad. "God... doesn't he shut up? Perhaps I should strangle him with his napkin to put him out of his misery. Ah well, at least I'm finally eating... it's best not to make a scene."

Lingrad humored him with "I see"s and "uh-huh"s for nearly an hour. "You must excuse me now... I've important business to attend to," Lingrad said getting up from his chair. The general said something in response, but it fell upon blind ear as Lingrad was already halfway out of the room.

He made his way down the hallways and back toward his lab, passing Demo's door once again. "Should I disturb him? No, he's more trouble than he's worth... and would be of little help, once again."

Lingrad made his way past the door without banging on it and yelling "COME OUT! YOU LAZY BOY!" and soon found himself in front of his lab.*

Demo was standing in the lab, smoking one of his artsy cigarettes and smirking something awful. He looked like a cat who had been in the cream.

"Hello Lingrad," he said. "I see that the good General isn't the only walking corpse. Have you slept at all?"

Not that he cared, but it was best to make polite conversation as he had accidentally kicked something on his way in that had made a hiss *ting* noise at him. And now half the lights weren't working.

*"Good God, boy. What have you done now? I see a mischeivous glint in your eye. If you've killed the General again..." Lingrad threatened.

He then looked at his creation, who was beginning to stir more. Its eyes were twitching, and its fingers began to move more. "We must make sure he is rehydrated, then I can begin the brain-washing procedure. Soon, my pet, you will do my bidding," Lingrad said half to himself, though the first part could have been to Demo and the last part was aimed at the General.

"I don't suppose you've heard any more news, boy?" Lingrad asked, finally remembering the purpose of creating his killing machine.*

Demo stared at his 'lord and master' for a moment and then cleared his throat.

I knew I shouldn't have left him alone with the corpse. 'My pet'? Good God...

"Well, the maid I was... spending time with told me that people were wondering where the general had run off to," he smirked. "So I'd say water the fellow, brainwash him, wake him up and send him back because people are getting suspicious."

(Well it's nice to know there's no love lost about Cappy. At the very least, he will not worm his way into the war game. I'll see to that personally.

I wouldn't get too worried. Judging by the responses to his entrance the AB crew alone will pound him down a nice bit.

He glanced over at the boy, his pale blue eyes flashing... he felt powerfull... he felt superior.*
