Since X TV 01 just came out yesterday and the OAV has been out since august and with a movie from a couple of years ago and lots of manga. I think it would be time to start a forum for X let alone an official thread.

So who is a fan of X, speak out.

Yay X! I like Sakurazukamori! YAY EVIL CHARS! Erm.. yeah. ^.~ I really should finish the manga. I've only made it through the sixth volume. O.o I got caught up on Yami no Matsuei XD

I like evil characters too. Kamui and Subaru may be pretty, but they're boring XP Angst only takes you so far, y'know.

Has anyone else noticed how much better-looking X has become over the course of the manga? Most of the characters---especially the male characters---look a LOT better in recent volumes than they did in the beginning. Maybe one day Kusanagi will actually be decent-looking, ne? o_x

Erm, enough fangirl-babble. I liked the OVA, from what I saw. I am indescribably anxious to see the TV series. Damn it, the fansubbers have to wait for the R2 DVDs to come out for their video source. I can't wait that long! ;_;

Actually i have a question about X. I have a video clip of it and the characters look a lot like those from 'Tokyo Babylon', is there any relation or is it simply co-incidence?

I don't remember exactly, but I think a few of the characters are taken from CLAMP's other series like Tokyo Babylon. It's definitely no coincidence.

:Sweatdrops:: Subaru and Seishirou, the Sakurazukamori ARE Tokyo Babylon's main chars and they battle it out finally in X. So yes they cross over into it. Subaru is a LOT younger in Tokyo Babylon. All that hinting in Tokyo Babylon finally makes sense in X.

I tried downloading it last night, but then my computer froze just before the download started! XO I was so upset. I guess I'll have to see if any distros get raw tapes of it, 'cause I'll just order it raw.

Oh, and not only do Tokyo Babylon's main characters cross over (even Hokuto plays a semi-important role in X), but the CLAMP Campus Detectives also do. They assist the Seven Seals. I always wondered what they'd look like older...XD

X ep 1 is out?? coolies!! I was fairly disappointed with X/1999 movie.... since the manga's so long... and still going... I think i am lost half way through the manga now!

I'm hopeless with character names.... but I like the wind guy... errr... dunt know his name. I like the guy who can see the future as well, he's on the bad guy side!

I've seen Tokyo Babylon the first one. So pls fill me in... what's with them crossing over characters??? huh???

As for the series, I've been following it and, it's been pretty good and very loyal to the plot of the manga so far. Subaru looks really sexy, and so does Seichirou, without that one eye. I wanna see the fight between them in action... I cried when I read the manga for that fight.

The X movie got it all wrong. They let Seichirou kill Subaru! >< I was so pissed at that. I too disliked the movie.

IMO, Tokyo Babylon was way better than X. At least the manga was. I hate CLAMP's little habit of not finishing their manga series though... although, I must admit, Chobits is pretty good for a shounen manga. I still wanna finish CLOVER.

Commercial well yeah you could take that view but i took it as a preview. Either way were both right, just a coincident that the character they focus the ep 00 on dreams of the future isn't it. Though the bit they showed of the subura and Seichirou has left me wanting more.

Anyone know the name of the ending theme for the X oav?

The OVA -was- basically a commercial, but it was the best damn commerical I've seen in a long time.

So...I gotta know...Dragon of Earth, or Dragon of Heaven? Which would YOU be? I very much see myself siding with the Dragons of Earth. Face it, they're cooler XD

The ending theme is called "Strength", by the way.
