Full Armor Enhanced ZZ Gundam vs. Victory

I decided to go with this question, originally I was thinking of Victory 2 Assault Gundam vs. Wing Zero Custom but enough matching GW I doubt any Gundam from GW can beat any UC suit. I think Victory would win, why Beam Shield. But then again, the slow and bulky Full Armor Enhanced ZZ Gundam could close range and use its Beam Saber which is a big disadvantage. That's why Victory Gundam would win.

Beam shield does not equal 100% blocking. It's the same as a normal shield, only it doesn't deteriorate with use. Hit the beam shield emitter however, and you lose your defense. The FA(E)ZZ is not slow, and acceleration only applies if ALL the thrusters are burning at the same time. What is this good for? Moving forward, that's about it.

Weaponry-wise? ZZ. Don't even question it, the ZZ-era mecha have always been hideously overpowered. Armor? ZZ as well. We're talking several layers, and it's all thick stuff, not like the mere tinfoil Formula and Victory suits are armored with. Speed? Most likely V Gundam. Latter mobile suits depend on mobility rather than armor for protection. Long-range battle? Tie. The ZZ has an impressive array of beam weapons, and the V2 Assault has VSBR. Close-range battle? The V2 is smaller and a most likely has the better 180-degree turn time, but the ZZ also has a 25 meter beam saber. That's not to be trifled with.

Is this battle on Earth or in space? ZZ isn't exactly a ground-based mobile suit, whereas I'm pretty sure the V2 can operate on the ground sufficiently. In suit versus suit performance, it's pretty even, although I'd place V2 Assault slightly higher. With their respective pilots at the controls, Judo (ZZ) and Usso (V2), Judo wins hands down.

FA(E)ZZ Gundam is slower than it's opponent the V Gundam. The V Gundam does have a quicker 180 degree turn time than the ZZ Gundam. The place would be better fought in space.
