FF7 vs FF8

well this is kinda hard for me. FF7 has a much better storyline. FF8 has much better characters n enemies. FF7 has all other better stuff dan ff8. but this is MY opinion

i love all the final fantasy games, and i do not compare one to another in terms of which is better. i will say this though!

final fantasy VII's ending sucked ass! but yes...

I agree with lil tenshi, FF7 is better with depth and storyline, even gameplay, FF8's graphics are sharper tho

I can follow FF8's storyline farely well, I just find FF7's storyline more attractive and interesting.

That's just my opinion...

I, too, cant participate but I can give my opinions...

FFVII had a DEEP storyline, deeper than several FFs. It, as said pevious, is a "mature" storyline therefore it seems more real, it also attracts more. It is dramatic and ironical storyline... different from several previous games... It had drama, tragedy, death, horror [a teenyweeny bit] and more...

[b]while desiphering which you like, you have to put the idea to the side that ffVII's story is more 'whateveer'... they were both equally involving and indepth and twisted, and etcetc... it's just that ffVII is a psychological thriller whilst ffVIII is a tragedy/drama/romance... they're two differnt types of stories. that's like comparing the illiad with the dictionary. but yes... final fantasy VII's ending sucked ass... it just pisses me off thinking about it. ffVIII's is awesome. and i';m gone.

Even though i liked both, i think i liked FF8 better. It was very character devlopment and interaction oriented, and i must say i prefer this aspect of the game over FF7. But both have they pros and cons.

Da onlythang i hate about FF7 is da graphic and character development. You can barely see their noses and mouth in battle. I'mnot really sure y Cait Sith had to be a character. He looks ugly. They should let us use the man who controls Cait Sith, Reeve.

What? um.. uh what! I love the ending of FF7 it the reason why I've spent so much time playing that game, just to go through all the plot developments again and again until I reach the finale. As for FF8 after watching the end I promptly returned the game and never played it again, not even to do the subquests, where's my motivation?

Final Fantasy VII's ending FMV i ok... it did sumwhat dissapoint me a teeny bit but overall I still found it statisfactory...^^ I especially loved those Weapon FMVs... I LOVED the weapons and thought they were awesome! diamond weapoin, ruby weapon, emerald weapon, ultima weapon, and whatever that swimming weapon that attacked junon harbor was called...
