Infinte Ryvius apparantly was popular in japan and was also animated by Sunrise like Scyred is.

It's been describes as an anime Lord Of The Flies set in space.

While talking to a translator for a fansub group while in animeco's new channel he told me it was the hardest series he had worked on in the last year by far. At the rate Infinate Ryvius is coming out (really slow) it would seem so.

Back to scyred

It appears the anime came out before the manga, phew theirs going to be no ppl bitching how the anime is inferior to the manga because they didn't do this or changed this etc

Scryed is a cool show. I like Takahashi's description as X-men done right. Basicly it is set in a world were a small group of people have super powers (known as Alter Abilities), basicly they disentagrate matter and reform it to make giant robot or guns or any other enhancement.

I really like the show, its probably the best new show out (along with Vandread Second Stage). I have seen 11.5 eps (strange I know), hopefully will get up to ep 13 today. I must say the show is starting to display more potential than I thought it would have. The story doesn't seem as generic as I first guessed it was. At the very least scryed is a good show, but may end up being even more.

I have seen up to the end of this serie, it was awsome. The story actually ends at 24, but they made an epilogue out of 25 and 26. There is a few suprise in this serie that would blow you away, like the role captain Jigmar plays.

I got both Rave and Scryed at the same time since I heard quite a bit about both shows and I thought I would like Rave more than Scryed. I watched Rave first and couldn't get through the first ep. so I wasn't so enthusiastic about Scryed 'cause I thought my reaction would be the same. Well I finally watched first 4 eps of Scryed and I found it very interesting. I plan to get more soon. I think it's a cool show.

Rave was kinda a let down, I enjoyed Scryed way more than Rave. Also if you like Scryed, try Infinite Ryvius, which is from the same team.

ahh cool, ill be on a look out for it whats the plot about? sorry for that hellish question but im kinda curious yeah rave, is well, i dunno how to explain it, the action in it isnt intense as much as in scryed so i guess thats why rave was kinda like you said a let down but hey who knows it might get more intense later on
