A simple reminder, in forum requests there is a scryed thread trying to spread more scryed goodness by giving it its own forum. The show is definetly worth it, now if only it had a larger following. So go there now and let your voices be heard or I will sic my alter on you!

Now for the discussion point:
Don't you find Ryohou to be a typical Hikaru Midorikawa. A bad-guy with a good heart, very anti-social and driven by a personal quest (like vengence). Mikagami Tokiya, Heero Yui and Zelgadiss Greywoods are just some of the names that come to mind. I can't imagine him lending his voice to a different type of character.

PS: See, if we had our own forum, that would be its own thread

Actually I never saw Ryuhou as a bad guy, he is more the misunderstood good guy. His view of right and wrong might be totally opposite to Kazuma, but you can't say that its the wrong way he is heading, can you? What has he done up to this point? He is bringing in savage alter using criminals in, he is helping keeping the peace and order, upholding the law. Tracking down a dangerous criminal, whose sole purpous is to cause distruction and disorder for money(Kazuma). That is one way of viewing on the matter, there is however Kazuma's. He just sees Ryuhou as the a communist trying to take away his freedom. He sees Ryuhou as a dictator, who is there to makes slave out of him and his friends, disturbing the peace, take away his lifestyle. You can't really say who is right or who is wrong, cause each has their own reasons and their own sense of rightiousness.

Ryuhou believes what he is doing is good, as does Kazuma, from their point of views they are the good guy and the other is the bad guy.

i can't wait for ep 22 which is called Martin Jigmar, i want to see what he can do. he has to be strong if he's the leader of holy

I didn't mean that Ryohou was bad, but he's more of the antagonist of the series. It is true that both Ryohou and Kazuma have their own point of veiw, none are wrong. The point I was trying to make that Ryohou isn't the proto-typical bad-guy (like say that person with the magnum alter). Nor is he your typical good guy either. I was just saying his charecter is a lot like the other charecters Hikaru Midorikawa lends his voice to.

At their website you can read that they are busy with subbing the SHQ Kenshin ova2, I like Scryed much more than Kenshin.

Half the encode team have gone out of town and are therefore unavailable to time/encode the ep. Ep 16 which was estimated to be released last Sunday just couldn't make the cut since they left the previous day to Japan.

The good news though, is that Scryed eps 16 and 17 will be released once they return in a week and we'll also be getting the Spirited Away DVD (Yes, finally ), Initial D Battle Stage, and possibly the Devilman Movie to sub for the next few weeks.

From ani-nets site itself, i don't mind the wait if i get to see Spirited Away, i really really want to see that

A movie by Hayao Miyazaki, the one who made Laputa, Kiki's Delivery service, Princess Mononoke and others, so its bound to be good.
