My webcomic page is online, but it still sucks! need help!

I think this thread belongs more to the "Website Review" forum!
I'd like to give some suggestions and C&C's but the link doesn't really work......a 'can't find server' error I think......

yeah, your right, this thread should be moved (he! it's moved allready, but in the wrong forum! i'm asking for help, not a high hits count!)

and the link is working now. Keenspace.com was offline for a while because of server problems.

Looks good!!!!

For all what I've seen, your site is tidy and easy to navigate!
I like how you've did the navigation bar that appears by moving your mouse on the menu!
Hmmm......what's with the black square and line on the 'News' page.....it looks pretty useless.
Your site has alot of blank spots and also a bit lack of contents mainly because the sections that you can click on the nav bar are almost all 404 errors. (home, comic, archive, about )
Well ya keep it up!!!!

Ehh? There's a navigation menu? I didn't see the mouseover anywhere....

Looks ok so far...a rare case of good frames that I've seen...though it looks like you have some side scroll on your right frame that you may want to get rid of.

Also, appearing navbar menus are all well and good, but if it was me, I would ditch it altogether. When it comes to navigation, you shouldn't have to make users figure out how to find a navbar or a menu to lead them around the site. Navigation should be a given in any site and it should be as easy as possible. Leave your navbar in the left frame and visible all the time. Doing so will at the very least make your site look more robust and content-filled.

Bold text, like you have on your news bits, should only be reserved for text that needs to be seen. It shouldn't be the norm - that's what normal text is for. Unbold all your text. This way you can free up and use your <b> tag to draw attention to words rather than the <i> tag.

Since I could only surf to the webcomics, I can only comment on those. Pretty good, nice way of navigating. I would, however, place the navigation scheme on top as well as on the bottom, so people can click through without scrolling to the bottom if they are speeding through your comics looking through for a certain one. I also don't think a "blur" mouseover really works here with the navigation images. Mouseover images are supposed to accentuate or highlight what is being moused-over, not make it more vague or harder to see. If anything, the blur should be the first image and your rollover should be the clear text version of it...though I would ditch the blur altogether and go with something like inner or outer glow or a color change.

Your overall design, though, looks pretty good, and it's easy to see the purpose of the site. The webcomics are very clear and easy to read. Keep up the good work!

well, i get kinda different commentairy on that menu, most people think it's pretty cool and some say it is unnessecairy, wich it is! put it looks cool, and i think most people are perceptive enough to see the MENU button on the left.

and about those roll-over nav. buttons..you're right, i think i will change those into ordinary buttons. thanks for your advice!
