Name that style!
Developing one's own style is often discussed here. People ask, "how do you develop your style", or "do you have your own style", etc., but the best way to judge that IMO is to ask others what they think of your work. That being said, there are a few here who I could probably identify by their artwork (at least among a comparision of the AB crowd).
Here are a few that pop into mind:
Tifa - One of the few here who uses a more 'marvel' like style, but i have not seen her post lately *taps foot*
Jackal's - Has a more realistic, more detailed feel.
Nefla - I can always rely on her to give us more bishies.
Nairohe - Need i say anything?
Neo_Max - Actually, some of Max's stuff is taking a different twist, so maybe i wouldn't be able to identify it after all...
There were a few more i wanted to mention before, including some newer folk, but as I started typing the void in me head ate my thoughts. So, who's work do you think you could identify?

How could you forget Cruel Angel Thesis? he has that crude, simpsons-like style. ^_____^
Psycho mantis - he's got a sketchy, rude feel to his drawings similar to that of Blade of the Immortal... only crude and demented.
Takeshi-san - when you see graceful ballerinas mixed in with Rayearth style, that's her! Er, I think I mistake Uzi's drawings for takeshi sometimes... oh, dont forget Falinah... she falls into this category too.
coign - for some reason, his coloring reminds me of MACHALL though the sketching and drawing is mainly Coign... you can tell from a distance he did what.
for some reason i confuse AnkaraStark and GdsAkuma.... if you look through the forum's previous posties, they tend to look alike especially coz they both use real media and sketches...
Ikari_asuka_langley - she's got her style down. her figures look a little stiff but her character's eyes seem to always have that serious and somber look in them... it's a different spin off from anno's style... i guess a little bit bigger in build rather than miniscule and fragile.
Twin Cruiser - Who can forget them? they use a style similar to that of Joe Mad... hehehe... and for some reason it reminds me of mario...
anaemo - skilled in painter, not very good with forms, has good taste in color though.
Ramiel and Evaseries both have a similar style but i can tell who evaseries is because he likes to draw babes.. good looking ones too.
Trademark and Millions -these two have similar styles... very caricature like though I would probably assume that Trademark drew what millions did... i dunno... i'm not sure if these two collaborate or talk though they are very very similar.

One Winged Angel kun does this sort of Digi Charat pornography or something. I don't know. I like it a LOT. *evil grin*
Sometimes TM does this inking style that makes me think of Elfquest. I do so love it.
And yes, Tifa's style makes me think of Marvel. I give it lovins now. *gives the art lovins*

Glad someone else noticed CAT had a Simpsons meets Jhonen Vasquez style. Though I am kinda mad that people think I have a completely average manga style.
I would say that IAL has a great fusion of Sadamoto and the Utena tv style.
Nair is an interesting fusion of various anime character designs along with a fine art sensiblilty.
Coign apes the Mac Hall style he loves so dearly quite well.
Twincruiser is probably the best (and only) art team as well as a good disciple of that cartoony realist style en vogue a few years ago in the mainstream American scene.
Tifa definitely is an interesting mix of Japanese and American styles to make something uniquely hers.
And I draw like a five year old.

If by high art you mean it's fun to smoke pot and look at Mike Mignola's art, I'm in total agreement.

Digi Charat PORN!?!??!?! I like children, but I don't LIIIIIIIIIKE children! Damn! What ever turns your crank though. That's just a phase though, I will get drawing my normal crap soon. But it definately rocks that you like it, but I didn't know people had the spin on it. It's like, innocent and naughty. It's just a twist.
Mines sorta like hmmm, Eva, kinda. I don't think I have a style, at least for anime. It's just kinda there.
I like alot of peoples work on this board, I even get inspired, that doesn't happen often. I need to draw right now. And annoy the crap out of you people with my pictures, I think I do that best, just annoy people. You guys must think I starve for attention with the things I do and the alledged fan service! LOL. I draw whatever happens to hit the paper.
I enjoy everyone's style

aurelia's detailed and realistic style is beautiful
nair's sketchy and spunky peices gives a gorgous style unique to her
and kthm's comic look is soo kawaii!! and it gives a great touch to comic strips!

Narf, you're just jealous you lap-dog u_u
Nairohe makes all her characters look like anemic weasels; my style is quite different...but she fears that I will surpass her and therefore attempts to destroy my artistic style in an attempt to undermine me o_o
I'm onto your tricks Nair
Y'know, it'd be interesting to have a little experiment where artists send in drawings of the same thing, and see if people can isolate the style....

Fairy, that last oekaki pic you did was just wrong : I don't even want to know at this point... ( )
Yes that would be quite interesting to compare everyone's style to see how they're all unique in different areas but what would be a good subject to draw (obviously a person of some sort)?

I saw we all do a picture of Batman (since the guy has a fairly simple and recognizable acostume) and see if people can figure out who did which Dark Knight rendition.
