Please Save My Earth...

Somebody I know told me to look into this anime. Before I spend what little money I have, id like to hear what people have to say.

Is it any good?

What is this anime it about?

What kind of anime is it?

I havent foud much info on it yet although I have checked out the music and its pretty good.

Thanks

Firstly, it's a six episode OVA based on a 21 volume manga, so a lot was left out, which leaves a *few* holes in the story. I had read the first 3 volumes before I saw it, which probably helped a bit, but was certainly still able to enjoy the story.

Story: (minor spoilers)

7 young people all have dreams about the moon, and discover that in a past life they were alien scientists who were studying the earth from their moon base.

(end spoilers)

It is a shoujo series, so there is an emphasis on charachter relationships and romance.

I liked it when I watched it, but it was a touch rushed. From what I remember, there's also a movie version, with a slightly different ending...

Geez... where's Yumi when you need her?

Ahhh!!! PSME! One of my favorites Yes, it's very good past the first episode. The main character, Arisu whines a lot, but then she gets better after she starts dreaming of the moon. I like it. It deals with Wicca a lot, and with giant space cats. *Yes, I DO mean giant space cats*

Oops... heh... I saw the movie

and as I recall, there was only one giant space cat, wasn't there? Maybe I'm thinking of another show (because, hey! in anime... giant space cats are KINDA run-of-the-mill )

PSME is good. I liked it - the anime series was a bit short though, in my opinion, but i quite liked the animation. The storyline is quite sad actually and the ending song/credits is so haunting......kinda freaky ^^. i found some bits of it kinda confusing, especially towards the end, but its still worth checking out.

I really liked it. But, I echo the others in that it was too short. It cuts out the later parts of the story and has a weak concluding statement at the end.

MINOR SPOILERS

The big cat is just an alien creature. I think it represents a wonderful time for the boy which was stolen away from him which explains some of his nastiness.

Tellting anything more is major spoilers. And, I'm not obsessively into this one, so I might get it wrong.
