Can we only use the avatars that are provided for us? Is it possible, after a certain amount of posts, to use our own avatars like you can do on ezboards? There are a *lot* of avatars I know so there certainly is alot of choice but it would be nice to have a picture of personal choice. Is this a possibilty?

well if you want you can submit your avatar to be added to the list... but when you get to use them depends on your post count ...

i've made a couple of 48 x 48 pixel images (gif files). Do I just e-mail them to you then?

yep to icons@eva2000.com but there's a backlog of them so it may be a while before i get them uploaded

I recall reading that you were having a lot of e-mail problems-would it be a good idea to send avatars in now, or wait until everything is under control?

Also, if it's really backed up I'd just as soon not give you more work and wait until you've had a chance to dig out a bit

I've got some cool pics I'd like to make avatars of......

Also, is using fanart you've drawn to make avatars frowned upon? How about if it's an original character?

well it's up to you... it's backed up for 2 reasons

1. i am getting twice the email daily that i normally get
2. my email filters are messed up so mail is not being directed to the right folders

if you can hold off until next week, i'll try and clear the back log

I just made a bunch of avas-some from Cowboy Bebop, Card Captor Sakura, Sailor Moon and some other miscellainy-there aren't any SM avas except for that one of sailor Moon for cryin' out loud-and of course some more Eva ones, a lot of the minor characters like Yui, Ritsuko, Touji, etc.

However, I think I messed up the sizing on a couple of them and they ended up 47X48 instead of 48X48. Is it necessary to go back and fix those? I don't mind if they have to be exactly that size, but I figured I'd ask in case 47X48 is okay.

Finally, I got them all down to under 2k but they seem to look much smaller and blurrier than the ones you have here....am I missing something?

I just made like 20 awesome avatars for here with photoshop5.5! BUT YOU CANT SAVE ANYTHING IN THE TRIAL VERSION!!!!! ARRRGGHHHHH!!! X_x;;;

yeah they should be fine at 47x48... as to the blur and quality depends on the number of colours you use and whether you saved them as jpeg or gif

sent them to me sometime next weekend so i can add them all

sorry to hear Oogami about that... must of been great images though ...

Well I made some kewl Wild Arms Avatars but they are all 60x60. You can stil check 'em out just go to this link I've provided.

EDIT: Oh yea the Anastasia 2 and Cecilia 2-3 avatars my friend made 'em.

I sent in a zip of 57 avatars to the icons@eva2000.com address-so whenever you are ready for them, they should be there.

Let me know if there are any problems or if I need to resend the file.

Now, I just need to make a zip of all my fanart.....doh....

BTW, the Wild Arms ones look cool-I haven't played the game, but I like 'em anyway
