Okay then what exactly should they use for their ending theme for those couple of episodes excluding the fact that it will be inconsistent. And don't say nothing because NGE was aired on TV to begin with and would look completely weird if it ended without a song at the end credits. Hmm, maybe they should do that then. Leave the whole credits silent

Yep it's a bad ending theme(s), but not the worst.

See the ending theme to Mahou Senshi Riui, and you will see (hear) whats bad.

An excellent show otherwise,

I know a solution: Throw out "Fly Me to the Moon" totally. send it to the moon and replace it with Idioteque. Or we could do what they do on "The Sopranos" and "Six Feet Under" and play different songs every time.
