Yea, that was pretty interesting. So far, it almost seems like it's a prequel. Man, the next one ain't due out until March... argh.

Not sure how big the low and medium quality ones are, but if you're strapped for bandwidth, I'd definitely stay away from the high quality one. It's 141 mb of high quality goodness.

I love the idea of giving so many different directors the opportunity to add their own bit to the story. The differences in the trailer are stark and very interesting. For example, what the hell does that ancient red Japanese mask/face thing have to do with the plot???

I think that they are all different and seperate stories from one another. The one that you refer to Drizz I think is the one by Yoshiaki Kawajiri of Ninja Scroll involving a training excercise in the Matrix (much like the dojo sequence and woman in the red dress sequence) set in ancient Japan.

Anime News Network posted some information about the AniMatrix DVD as well as short descriptions of each of the short episodes. Sweetness, I say.

That was very nice. The Ninja Scroll- and Vampire Hunter D: 2000-style animation was simply amazing. Gotta get that DVD when it comes out...

I've seen episode 1. Still got to download 2, but it's good stuff thus far. Hope it stays that way.

Peace. V

'Program' was nice. Good fight scenes, great cel animation (Vampire Hunter D-style, baby!), and an ending I did not expect. Very, very nice indeed.
