Coloured Bigby

My brother and I have quite recently been reading "Fables", and found ourselves quickly working on a picture.

I'm actually supposed to be writing something, but my brain is kind of stuck at the moment. So I distracted myself with this.

I haven't been keeping up my colouring practice of late, so I was hoping for a couple of opinions. Any takers?

The image in question is in the "Attached Images" box. The picture directly below this text is my style of colouring before I put the stylus down for a month. If it doesn't load, fugged a'boud it.

Well first off, I hate it when you all post in this General Art folder...because not everyone is gonna see it. >_O

But onto the question at hand. I rather like the coloring style in the attached box as opposed to the big dragon pic...but that may be due to the subject matter. The coloring on the attached pic just looks so much more dynamic...the shadows and shading look deeper and more refined. Good job.

I would have posted this in the main forum, but Nair has a policy over the use of 'main' forum space for non-anime works.

But I will be posting a picture of the Elder God Cthulhu in the main forum. Hopefull Nair wont erase it. Otherwise I'll have to post that picture of her and the pluch Cthulhu. And won't THAT be a nice blackmail-ey surprise!

I don't mind people posting in the general art forum.

I like both coloring styles, they're quite different but they're alright. I'm drawn more to the most contrasted picture, because it has more depth and richness in value.
