I just saw all thirteen eps last week. To me, it's a combination of Chobits (kawaii shoujo) and Love Hina (ecchi) with the violence and depravity of anime/manga such as Go Nagai's Devilman, in particular.

And the fact that she never killed Bondo, although I think it's because she got sadistic pleasure out of the fact that she knew he couldn't beat her


But the fact that Lucy has no problem killing grunts who are hiding or running away, well, that's what really bugged me.

Exactly.

And especially since he still acted that way after he grew up. Most people learn to act that way when they mature, but he never lost that good aspect of himself.
