Am I alone................??

Is it just me, or are most of the anime discussion threads on this site complete ghost towns? (example:Ai Yori Aoshi )

espeically when its an anime thats ended. When it ends there is a finite amount of things to discuss, and they are discussed. Its pointless to say the same things over and over again (lol which i am doing right now...)

Yea, but still, some people might still have questions which need an answer, but with no one to talk to, they are left in the dark. Shouldn't atleast SOMEONE check those dead discussion zones, even if just once a week, for new replys?

I check this site pretty much any time I'm near a computer and I'm not busy, so I spend about 20 minutes or more a day checking for new replies. But some of us haven't seen every single series on this board, so its hard to answers questions. I try my best to answer all the questions I do know though

If they have questions what is stopping them from posting it .., just because no one else is posting in the forums doesn't mean it's abandoned. How can one check for new replies if others don't post new materiel, and you can't expect us to dig up 2 year old threads and reply to them.

i'm trying to watch a lot of the anime already listed here in order to be able to post on the boards, but its difficult to watch all of that. and some things are just hard to talk about anyway. But heres an idea:

What if AB had an anime that it "sponsored" for a month, one that is not already an anime you can post about. And what if members who had not already seen it watched (or started, if it is a long one) it. Eva2000 could open a new anime board every month for some anime. It'd generate lots of activity: 1) it would probably attract new members to join a lively board, 2) it would motivate current members to be active, 3) it would help out the anime industry, 4) it would increase awareness (for many things), and 5) it'd be a great way to learn about animes some people don't know about, and it'd be a lot of fun. Thats my solution for fixing an apparent problem that many of us have with AB, and a solution that might help keep it going for a long time.

Anyone else have new ideas or comments to expand (or fix) on mine?

Force people to post in every anime forum at least once every week?
