Gunslinger Girl

I was searching at many sites about anime and found this anime title. It saids that it's a new anime for the U.S. The summary of this sound interesting. Do you think it's a good anime to see? Please give me some info. about this if you seen it before or know anything about it.

This one was heavily promoted at Anime Central. I have a post card that has ultra cute school girls packing a serious collection of fire arms.

It's supposed to be about cute girls who are cold hearted assassins.

that's exaclty why I was interested in it, but it does say something about it taking place in Italy. Is it?

I have the manga, And it is a very good series. Very deep and confusing at times. I almost got the DVD yesterday, but got the second Midori No Hib- Wait, Midori Days *rolls eyes*
But it is definately worth the money
I can't wait until the 3rd manga comes out *squee*
But a summary: Basicicaly The Social Wellfare Agency takes young girls that are hurt, about to die, Ect. Give them bio-mechanical arms, legs, lungs w/e they need to live and have them do the governments Dirty work.
It does take in place in Italy. So there are some werid names XP
Henritta, Rico, Claes, yeah. their weird.

There were some slick promotional flyers for the show at A-Kon. It got my interest, especially because when I overheard others in the crowd talking about it, they generally matched the tone and acclaim I read on the little one-liner reviews the company printed on the flyer.

I've seen it. Good stuff, quite sad at times, and very slick animation.

Thanks for the info. Steathassasn. Darn it. I've been trying to find places to where I can buy it but couldn't. Don't know how long I'll have to wait to find it.

I've seen Gunslinger Girl, the collector box, on sale at Best Buy.

Anime Central is a fairly large May anime convention in the Chicago area. I picked up a free Gunslinger Girl post card promo from the vendor room there. Quire a site with all those cute school girls sporting various armaments.

Here's a typical online vendor page that sells it...

I already know that Best Buy has it. It's just that it's always out of stock when I check there. There is a lot of Best Buy everywhere. Where is the location you find yours?

Yes, I finally saw Gunslinger Girl! It's better than I thought it was. Though the first five episodes looks a little boring, they made me even more interested into the story and the characters' backrounds. I'm now looking forward to watch the next episodes.
