I just watched episdoe 1 and it was pretty decent. This reminds me alot of Scryed and since i"m a massive fan of Scryed & Infinite Ryvuis I have high hopes for this show.

*same director did the 3 shows I mentioned*

Episode 7 - ASSUME SPOILERS

Erk it's been a while since another episode of Gun X Sword has been fansubbed, episode 7 was released a few days back. This one was more of a character development episode, but had the usual showdown at the end. Interesting that man calling Van one of the original 7 .. wonder what that is, I guess time will tell.

Gun X Sword is pretty fun series. Hehe, I like how Van looks stylishly mixed from Vampire Hunter D and Spike from Cowboy Bebop.

Episode 8

Not bad, nice action, great to see Ray again. Now with Joshua, I had an inkling feeling after he announced he was Ray's brother that he might tag along with Van and Wendy .., I don't know what to think about that yet but I guess it's nice addition to the party plus that means we get to see more of Ray in the future episodes to come.

Gwah been a while since som Gun X Sword has been released, episode 10 was pretty average bu 11 was good. Some more plot development with Wendy's brother Michael who has had a case of stockholm syndrome and has become an ally with the claw man. Also found out more about Van's armour, it seems it's one of a group of seven special ones, I assume the claw man has the others and that's his ultimate goal to get hold of them all or something. Looking forward to some more Gun X Sword goodness.

Caught up to present with this one last week. This is just a time killer for me, not really doing it for me but there is still more to be revealed plot wise...

EPISODE 12 and 13 - SPOILERS AHEAD!

Some more Gun X Sword goodness. We find out more about the original 7 armours and how they have a special link with their pilot and were originally used as guardians of sorts of the Earth. That old man ends up being the claw man ... not expected, but pretty cool how Ray appears suddenly. Fight between Van and Galved was nice, been a while since there was some good action. Finally get to see another one of the original 7; Diablo of Monday, but now that it's been defeated only 5 more remain. Looking forward to those showdowns.

Episode 14 is out, if you guys are wondering. I thinking I'm going to pick back up where I left off, although the series ended about several weeks ago. Not to mention that fan-sub releases were pretty slow with them. Oh well.

I'm surprised and dissapointed that no other groups decided to pick up this series. But I'm enjoying the series and I'll kepp watching even if they take their sweet time releasing the fansubs.

Episode 14 was sort of filler like. A decent fight between Dann and Brownie at the tournament. Looks like Van will be taking on another one of the claw mans lackeys soon, the one who takes care of the two kids.

Yeah, I find it surprising too that this hasn't been as subbed as quickly as say: Fate/Stay Night or Shakugan no Shana, which both happened to be licensed. I wonder why as this series seemed to show so much promise in the beginning. I guess this series wasn't popular in Japan or among anime fans, hence the slow release times. At this rate, it will probably be Christmas before the subbed episodes finish!
