You might want to try GUN X SWORD, it's a western mecha action orientated anime and here's the official site. Uh yeah it's already been licensed but there are groups still fansubbing it.

Anyway, I've heard alot of good things about Shuffle!, I like it, but I've only seen 1 episode. Who knows, it might get worse.

As for ones I'd recomend, well, it wasn't fansubbed recently (like some 5 months ago) but I'd say Tsubasa Chronicles, if you like CLAMP and/or Koichi Mashimo's works (NOIR) then you *might* like this one.

Also fansubbed 5 months ago is Ichigo 100%. It's one of my favorites from the October (?) season of anime.

As for the recent ones, I've heard nothing but bad reviews from almost every single one of them (courtesy of ANN.) I'm checking out some of them within the next 2 hours, so hopefully, I'll be able to recomend some of those 3 titles I'm going to be viewing.

In addition to the series that were being recommanded here, I also recommand suzuka, quite nice if you'd ask me.

GUN X SWORD is actually pretty good. That's the only one I liked of about 4 shows that I watched for this season (not counting FMP SR becuase I don't like FMP in general)

Im so bitter about Seed Destiny getting licensed right when we were finally gonna see the conclusion. When it comes out again I doubt I'll have the patience to sit through 40 episodes of something Ive already seen. Skipping straight to what I havent seen though wont have the same effect because I will have forgotten so much of the original storyline.

oh wells.

Well, at least they release the dvd's fast, at least that's what they did with SEED (at least here in the US). I am still watching the fansubs though (it IS almost done.) Besides, I'm going to end up buying the Destiny dvd's anyway.

edit: the dvd's are set to release this fall supposedly in the US, so it shouldnt be that long of a wait. Assuming they do the same release format in Aus (2 dvd's every 2 months), then it's the equivalent of waiting for a 5 disc series to come out.

Wow....I just finished watching Peach Girl. Watching it was definately a emotional roller-coaster. The anime was very powerful in invoking emotions out of the viewer. Hate, Love, Anguish, Pain, Resentment, Torture,......everthing thing was here. To top it off, it had one of the most hated and annoying character in anime ever. She definately made me mad in the last episode. She couldn't keep her nose out of other people's business.

Anyways if you can stand the craziness of the anime, you're in for a real treat. Definately a must watch if you like anime drama. Man, I mean this one had ALOT OF DRAMA!!! :lol
