No it certainly doesn't exist because the Powerpuff Girls might be popular in Japan and because Cartoon Network might possibly want to make money in a foreign market with licensing rights to one of it's more popular shows and reshow it here if they deem it marketable thus making more money. Nor could it exist because Powerpuff Girls was a concept tailor made for the Japanese. Nah, those reasons are silly.

You mean that the Powerpuff Girls wasn't anime. With the big eyes and all I thought that it was.

Anime isn't what makes anime fans look bad. Anime fans make themselves look bad.

Wow...they actually managed to make it even more poorly animated and silly. I'm very impressed by the Japanese work ethic. They must have put a lot of effort into making that look as ------ as possible.

They should have stuck with just porting the US version of Powerpuff Girls to Japan, this is crossing yet another line.

I hope that never happens! That would be a such a bastardization.

LOL though, I wonder how the heck you'd make the show into harem anime. Most of the episodes take place in the mansion, and there's hardly any females in there...

I hate to break it to people but animation is a both a business and an art form. There is no line being crossed here. This is not some betrayal of ethics and artistic morals. This is a business decision plain and simple about exporting an American business franchise (Powerpuff Girls) and an American brand name (Cartoon Network). This sort of thing happens in Japan all of the time. This is nothing new other than it's an American franchise that's being used. I honestly don't get what the big deal with this is.

I watched the first episode for fun and i actually liked it.I lost the OST and it's funny seeing how they twisted the series from the original
