Welcome to the NHK

http://www.kadokawa.co.jp/hikky/

Picked up this new series Welcome to the NHK out of curiosity and recommendation from a friend.

It was a change of pace from the current series I'm watching. Surreal and bizarre sort of look social problems in Japan (ala otaku and what not), focusing on our protagonist Satou Tatsushiro who believes NHK (the TV station) are behind some sort of wild conspiricy against him (?).

Well it certainly peaked my interest this series. I'm quite curious to see what Satou will get up to trying to foil NHK's "conspiricy" against him. And what this project is that Misaki wanted Satou to be part of.

Also love the opening sequence animation that hooked me, and the ending is quite a laugh with that weird blue doll dancing and jiving away.

Hehe, another crazy senseless anime,I like it!

Although now after seeing what the main character goes through I feel bad for my neighbours.I"m sure they went through the same thing sometimes ><

I"m also getting curious how he's going to foil the NHK conspiracy!

Would be funny if Misaki turns out to be the annoying neighbour who is trying to get him mad enough to step out of his appartment.

Ah episode two was more of the same not like that's a bad thing. Don't you just love Satou's lewd imagination running wild! Again looking forward to the next episode, you can so tell this ero-game of theirs (Sataou and Yamazaki) is going to be a laugh.

Just watched the first episode. I found it to be a bit....interesting!! At least he has his priorities in check!! I think I'm going to keep up with this one to see how strange it will get. Coincidentally, I was about to read the manga till I found out the anime was about to come out.

It make me laugh when he discovered how to find porn on the web and was all amazed.I mean in this day and age who doesn't know how to find porn on the web?

But I'm getting more and mroe curious what the project is.She even said that Satou being a pervert is oerfect for her project.I"m imagining a draconian de-perversion program lol

Strange as in an anime that takes a look at otaku culture and what not? Well it isn't the first, there's that Genshiken a year or so back and also isn't there a Gainax anime as well?

I loved the scene in episode three where Satou is going through the images Yamazaki gives him. Those explosions of light were just hilarous.

Saw the first episode and I'm hooked I guess. LOL, I want to see what he's going to do to that otaku that lives next door to him.

I loved their heroine design for their galge game, what was it, childhood friend who lives next door, who is a robot maid who is stricken with pain from saving you and is a reincarnated fox spirit? Hah!
