Well there's this cute little shop downtown Ottawa in Canada that ahs excellent anime stuff.

But you'll have to be a bit more specific. Are you looking for another store in your specific location? Are you looking for a good website to buy from?

You can get some stuff on Netflix and Blockbuster.com, otherwise, check out AB's sponsors.

I know what you are talking about. I too have been having trouble finding Anime. In Australia most times I get my Anime from EB Games. But as of late they seem to be stocking in less and less of it. I don't know if it's because it is getting more popular or if it's because it isn't selling anymore but it's getting annoying. The other day I went to 3 local EB Games stores and all I could get was Vol. 7 of Gantz. For the other 4 things that I wanted I had to drive to the closest JB Hi-Fi which is about 30km away. Yes Yes, Boo-Hoo but it isn't that far but with petrol prices now it costs a bit.

I know that I can Pre-Order at EB Games but sometimes I buy things from what the back cover says.

Oh my.... E.B.A.Y!!! Thats how I got my collection to the point that it is. I don't buy used unless its not on the market anymore. I have purchased well over 100 titles on ebay and only 2 of them were bad. Out of the two that were bad 1 of them was exchanged.

It really is, here's the main things I do and check.

1. Type in the name of the title you want, then sort by price.
2. Make sure its new, if used the seller must have 95% or over for feedback.
3. I don't buy anything burned, unless... I'll leave that alone for legal reason's.
4. Check the seller "recent" feedback. If a seller is having money problems and about to go out of buisness you could run the risk of getting scammed, hope this helps.

I vote for Netflix,

They are pretty good at carrying the WHOLE series or are committed to getting it ... unlike alot of rental places that pick up the first few for rental hoping to suck you to buy the subsequent ones out of desparation to watch.

Ebay is also good, but I'm a bit leery about the trust factor in the purchase ...

Telling us where you live would be kind of helpful then.

Online websites are your best bet for buying or renting Anime DVDs. Local video stores rarely have anime for rent, and the only one that does is Blockbuster and even then their selection isn't as big as you'd like it to be. For buying, Best Buy is the easiest and biggest seller of anime around.

But I personally recommend you check out www.dvdpricesearch.com It's a VERY helpful site. You type in the name of any anime dvd or ANY dvd for that matter, and it will give you a list of all the onlines sites that carry that particular dvd or dvd set.

It will give you a list of all the prices for that dvd and show you what's the cheapest place to buy it from. That's where I always go to get my stuff, anime or movie related.
