The pacing for Death Note is surprisingly good, I was worried that they wouldn't fit the whole manga into the 37 episodes or they would scretch out the first half for what it's worth.

was anyone else suprised when they changed the intro to the show? honeslty, i think its fantastic. probably my favorite anime intro of all time. however, i was a little disturbed when i read "hey hey ningen sucker, ah ningen ningen fucker" for the first time.

sometimes your eyes play tricks on ya, ya know? and the first time i saw this i definitly did not read "ningen".

As a big fan of MAXIMUM THE HORMONE I was absolutely stoked when their song "What's up, people" was used as the new opening song for Death Note especially since it's an old song of theirs (two or three years old I believe). Their new song used for the ending is just as kick ass.

Zetsubou Billy music video scared me when I first watched it, I was scared that MTH went all visual kei on me but to my relief the actual band made their appearance in the later half of the video.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Just watched episode 24. All I have to say is...He's Back!! That damn Light is something else. To plan something like this so far ahead, it's pratically ingenious. Well, we all know what's going to happen next. Too bad Misa had to further shorten her life span. Man, I definately can't wait for the next episode!

Episode 24 was by far the best episode of Death Note yet! And honestly, the part where Light got his memories back, they couldn't have done that scene better, it was perfect, and it gave me the chills at the same time. I can not wait till the next episode, I may have been wrong before, but I think that this time L really will...

(SPOILER)
...Die.

No! L's finally...it's so sad, he really thought Light was his friend.
The best part of this episode, was when Misa sang that song, it was just creepy.

No!! You spoiled it!! No!! Again, another awsome episode. It was actually a bit weird at times. Like when L was massaging Light's feet or what have you, but there was of course a purpose for him doing that. I'm pretty sure that he knew his time was near. Also, Misa looked very...pretty in this episode. And Light....what more can I say about this man. He even had a Shinigami shook! This dude is a human and he was maniuplating her to his liking. I swear that he's the devil himself. The thing about all this is, if this were the last episode, I would've easily considered this one of the top ten anime of all time, hands down.

Now that the L arc is over, I wonder what turn the story will take...actually I know, but I'm wondering what type of path that the anime will take.

I think Misa was wearing her "walk around town and kill people" outfit. The episode was a bit of a stretch from the norm, but like what has already been said, it seems it had a purpose. Is the next episode going to airing at the same time next week? Or are they going to take a break now that the L arc is over?

What do you think tonights episode will be about? To me it looked like it was going to be recap episode, man I hope not, I want to see Near and Mello. Actually, did anyone see Near and Mello in Epsidoe 25? In L's flashbacks, you see them, but only their backs.

Alright! Just finished watching episode 26. The first half the episode was basically re-cap material spoken in L's words. Second half showed Light/Kira abusing his power to the max, showing that he's now the "God" of the new world!! It was funny watching him at the top of the building looking like a maestro conducting an orchestra. At the end of course, we see Near and Mello finding out that L died. Me personally, I thought it would've been nice to end it all at this episode, as I mentioned earlier. Especially with the fact that he practically eliminated ALL threats. Anything that posed to stand in his way. Neverthless, the counterattack against Kira will begin soon.
