Does anyone else remember Samurai Pizza Cats?
It use to be my favourite show when I was about 7.
My mum even made me a Speedy Birthday cake (I think that was his name..he was the white one) .

*Sniff*...I loved that show….

Oh I remember watching it on Aggro's on Channel 7.

That was a lot of fun indeed. But alas I don't remember much though, besides an evil rat and all his wacky giant robot contraptions, and how the pizza cats are fired from a giant gun. And wasn't there other supporting cats besides the three?

Isn't that a fox with an old turtle that ponders on taking over the whole town? If memory serves me right on this, Speedy is caught in a love triangle (I think?), Poly is the feisty one, and the blue one has a thing for the ladies. The supportive cats are like the the masters....is it??

An evil fox named Big Cheese plots to take over little Tokyo. He is helped by a gang of ninja crows who is lead by Bad Bird.Speedy Cervichez and Guido Anchovi both have a crush on a girl named Molly who has a nasty habit of lauching seeking missiles when she's too emotionnal.Poly Ester is very feisty.I forgot the name of the restaurant manager.

Damn, now I feel like watching the show again! lol

YES!!.. yay Aggro's cartoon connection...that's where my love of anime first developed.

THAT THING IS A FOX?!?...LMFAO I always thought it was an odd looking rat or mouse thing too!!...I was a kid at the time maybe it was his name that confused me.

According to the wiki entry on Samurai Pizza Cats

Quote:
Recently, an English DVD has appeared on Amazon.com, containing only five episodes of the series.[1] It is unknown if there will be another DVD release containing more episodes.

Despite the show's relative popularity and recent fan petitions for a complete English DVD release, there are currently no plans to do so. The series, however, is available on DVD in French.[2]
I don't know if I want to watch it again now, it might destroy my great memories of the series just like with Transformers G1 when I attempted to rewatch it again a couple of months ago.

thank you...but it is dissapointing how little episodes there are.

and I agree with you about maybe not watching it again...the same thing happened to me with Beavis and Butthead(but I think in my situation it was just one of those shows you either have to be really young or really stoned to find funny).

The one who launches missile is Lucille, molly is the girl who shoots them out of the giant gun. Main chars are Speedy Service, Guido Anjovis and Polly Ester. They get their assignment from Big Al(the dog), the emperor is a bit looney and the country is run by the violent prince Vi. Somewhere midway the series they introduced the supreme catatonic, a giant robot, as well as a new team of ninja crows and a team of pizzacat from other cities.

Oooh right,Lucille!I always get those mixed up for some reason.

There's also the New York Pizza Cats wich made a few appearances. And of course it's funny that Speedy never gets into the Giant Robot

depending on if you've seen it in english or japanese, they are two completely different stories. the english was rewritten without refering to the original at all.

I too watched the Samurai Pizza Cats on Agro's Cartoon Connection. I actually miss him and Crikey the Clown. They both were funny. Agro use to hit on the girls all of the time but only the older viewers use to know what he was on about. Anyway all I remember about the Samurai Pizza Cats was the theme song. I know that I use to enjoy the show but I can't really remember what happened in it.
