Fall 2009 Titles!

So here is a list of the major anime titles coming out over the next few months.

Some extremely slim pickings here. So far the only two I'm automatically interested in are the Darker than Black sequel and Fairy Tail. I'm reading the Fairy Tail manga and enjoying it, but I'm worrying that, like many other manga adaptations, I'll be left less than impressed. The first season of Darker than Black was very enjoyable for me, although not really anything truly groundbreaking. It was just one of those series you watch because you love seeing a cool anti-hero kicking the crap out of the bad guys in stylish ways.

Trapeze does intrigue me, mainly because it's by the same staff as Mononoke. Also, it sounds just weird enough avoid most cliches and, thus, to hold my attention for more than an episode or two. I'll probably try this one out too.

EDIT: Something in me dies a little to see more Inuyasha being released. I thought the series was completed. I thought there was a definitive conclusion. I thought the madness was over. Did they really have to release more? Really?

Any tolerance I had left for that series has been murdered by the sight of it showing up in the future again.

Hmm...an interesting list there. Definately looking forward to seeing season 2 of Darker Than Black. Armed Librarians looks and sounds interesting as well. Fairy Tail is also on my must watch list, although it reminds me a little of One Piece. A sleeper hit for me would be Jungle Emperor Leo. Definately have to keep my on that one.

More than likely, I'll try to watch most of what is on the list, but these titles jump out at me for right now.

Yeah, speaking purely manga-wise, Fairy Tail and One Piece are similar in tone and manner of comedy.

11 eyes could be interesting as long as it doesn't fall into some of the same old patterns that a lot of similar anime do. I get bored quickly when I see the same thing over and over again. That's why I haven't been watching as much anime over the years, because the really innovative series are so few and far between.

I think that armed librarian title is going to be another big boob anime, so might drop it like its hot

Definately going to watch trapeze.

That breakdown is a nice, with a lot more detail to it. Looking at it, I might check out the Sacred Blacksmith too. I need a new fantasy series to watch; it's been so long.

I completely misread the title of this thread thinking that this going to be something else involving women possibly without shirts. I feel slightly disappointed.

Other wise to be on topic, Letter Bee sounds vaguely intriguing. I'm curious how that will be.

PA, I've got absolutely no idea how you could misread that. A case of seeing what you want to see, hmmm?

Your mind astounds me, lol.
